MAHMUD Aziizi has been fascinated by the power of artistic expression from a very young age. He co-directed a 30-minute play called Relapse at the National Theatre Festival Brunei 2023 and participated in the Asian Youth Theatre Festival Residency 2023 in Kuala Lumpur with 247 Studios. Currently, Aziizi works at a creative agency, AICREATIVV, as a creative designer and serves as the Co-founder and Chief Creative Officer for Kitani Kreatif, a social enterprise dedicated to creative cultural regeneration and heritage preservation. Aziizi’s goal is to create experimental, emotion-inducing, and thought-provoking works.

Rithy SEK graduated from Norton University with a bachelor’s degree in Creative Multimedia in 2022. Currently, he is working at Westline Education Group Co. Ltd. as a media manager to operate media. He has expertise as a producer, a videographer, a photographer, and an editor. In 2023, he was a director of photography in a short film production at the Cambodia Film Commission. He is passionate about engaging in more challenging activities where he can enlarge his abilities and capability in the media production and film industries.

Angeline pursued a Diploma in Broadcast Media from LASALLE College of the Arts, Singapore in 2021. In 2023, Angeline graduated with First Class Honors with a BA (Hons) in Film, double majoring in Directing and Production Design, from the same institution. Through her artistic expressions of narratives, Angeline tells stories that evoke femininity through effusive visual aesthetics and touch the human consciousness. With an unyielding passion for filmmaking, she has worked on numerous projects with different themes and tonalities, broadening her versatility and artistry.

Konevilom PHACHOUMPHONH graduated from the National Institute of Fine Art, Laos with a major in Film and Animation in 2023. Now, he has been working in some production in Laos named JPEG Image Production(Documentary, Wedding, etc...).
He has an official short film called Alone(2020), screenwritten by his friend YO.
Amazingly, they got 3rd prize at the Lanxang Film Contest. Until now, he has joined many workshops and contests to develop his skills.

KIM Suhyun is studying at the Korea National University of Arts film faculty. During her childhood in Singapore, she developed a deep love for cinema by watching DVDs. After returning to Busan, she continued to immerse herself in films at the Busan Cinema Center. These experiences ignited her passion for storytelling and inspired her to pursue a career in filmmaking, with the desire to share meaningful stories with a broad audience through the power of film. Now with the dream of being a Director/ Producer, she is on a journey to seek stories that can move and inspire people.

Rizq Yazed is an artist and programmer based in London, currently a student at the University of the Arts London doing a BA in Fine Arts: Computational Arts. His overall practice inhabits web-based art, film, and installation experiences that establish subversive takes on contemporary media and internet culture and challenge them in fun and light-hearted ways. Rizq’s ongoing project, Malaysian Internet Archive, is an effort to collect net art/new media artworks and writings by Malaysian artists who occupy and traverse the realm of Internet culture.

JT Trinidad is a filmmaker and critic based in Manila. Trinidad’s debut documentary short As If Nothing Happened(2020) competed at the London Short Film Festival.
Their debut narrative short The River that Never Ends(2022) won Best Southeast Asian Short Film at the 34th Singapore International Film Festival and the Student Award at the 18th JOGJA-NETPAC Asian Film Festival. As an alumnus of Ricky Lee’s Screenwriting Workshop, Mowelfund Film Institute, and the US-based nomadic film school Film Futura, he envisions using cinema to organize communities.

Joel NEO is a Singaporean producer drawn to female-led narratives that interrogate the realities we exist within. She holds a BFA in Filmmaking with Honours (Highest Distinction) and is a recipient of the Singapore Media Industry Scholarship. In 2023, Joel participated in the Locarno Film Festival’s BaseCamp IV and represented Momo Film Co. at the Berlinale Co-Production Market 2024. She produced Ash Goh Hua’s Full Month (Berlinale Short Form Station 2024) and is the assistant producer on A Useful Ghost and Duong Dieu Linh’s Don’t Cry, Butterfly (Venice Critics’ Week 2024).

Natanporn PATTANA is a freelance filmmaker from Thailand. With the dream of becoming a film director, she decided to study film at Bangkok University. After graduation, she joined a filmmaking program in Thailand, the Young Director Award Season 2 from Bangkok Bank. Last year, she made a short film, Persona(2023), which enabled her to secure a substantial budget for her next project, Geborgenheit(2023). She does not want to forget how much fun she had while making films and wishes to keep that feeling to alive. In the future, she will continue to love telling stories and seeing her narratives come to life through film.

Phuong is a filmmaker based in Hanoi, Vietnam. She recently graduated from UWC Mahindra College India, where she also specialized in Film Studies in the International Baccalaureate Diploma. She researches the intersectionality of gender and cinema and seeks to explore experimental/unconventional modes of storytelling. She believes the meaning of cinema lies beyond mere recreation, but rather a powerful means of shedding light on unspoken narratives around the world. Through the intersection of film and theater, Phuong explores the human experience through the eyes of marginalized/underrepresented communities.

Alimin’s early exposure to video recording planted the seeds for a lifelong interest in visual storytelling. His internship experience has not only provided practical skills and industry knowledge but also deepened his love for this art form.

Sreyrath SEAB was born in 2003. Currently, she is pursuing her bachelor’s degree as a senior student in the Department of Media and Communication. While she studied, she interned as a content writer at the Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia, a nongovernment organization. She was selected as one of 28 trainers to join the Cambodia Film Lab as a 1 st assistant director and producer. She completed her studies one year at Sunflower Film Alliance by making a short film. Her film Love Without Standard(2023) was selected as 4th runner-up at the BREAKTHROUGH Festival and was screened at the International Cambodia Film Festival.

Arung, currently living in Banjarmasin, aims to be a generalist in many industries, including film. He started editing videos in 2014 and now works part-time as an editor at Believe Post-Production House and handles social media for Forum Sineas Banua. From 2022-2024, he worked on 14 films. Arung’s goals for the future are to refine his skills as a scriptwriter, director, and editor. Additionally, he wishes to contribute to the film industry both locally and internationally.

Somsouk KHOUNSAVATH is a 22-year-old student obsessed with making films. He was born and grew up in Luang Prabang, whose ancient culture and arts have fascinated him to be an art lover. In the second year of school, he won a project that created a community advertising documentary. When he started making films, he liked to bring his personality to the film and continued to develop his skills until he participated in the short film camp and won many awards.

Shinae is a sophomore at Seoul Institute of the Arts, majoring in film sound. She has participated in various on-campus workshops, short films, and viral advertisement contests with my colleagues. She has a particular interest in genres that combine fantasy. Last year, during a workshop, Shinae mixed the film Fine Bones(2023) where she had fun making the ambiance for a person’s throat. She would like to say that she aims to research and develop her own spatial sound to make film worlds more immersive and contribute to creating good films.

Raja Adam is a Malaysian film producer based in Kuala Lumpur. He co-founded ARJA Films, a production house based in Kuala Lumpur that produces films, social media commercials, fashion films, and music videos. Adam participated in Platform Busan 2023 to expand his film network across the world. He produced his thesis film, Ms.Pontianak(2022), and has traveled to festivals such as the Toronto Reel Asian International Film Festival, Jakarta Film Week, and Minikino Film Week. It was awarded the Grand Prize winner for the 18th Mini Film Festival and a Special Mention Award at SeaShorts 2022.

NO No Lwin, a Burmese YouTuber of Surie in Her 20s, is a 19-year-old aspired filmmaker from Myanmar. The very first videos of her creation, Life(2024) and Love Yourself(2024), showcase motivational and lifestyle lessons. With her intense passion for filmmaking, she is self-taught through online resources without any formal education. As a solo vlogger, she manages every aspect of film production on her own, including scriptwriting, directing, producing, and editing. She is strongly eager to become a great cinematographer, director, and actor, aiming to make an impact by sharing resonating narratives in the world of film.

Myra found her knack for storytelling after discovering Cinematheque Centre Iloilo in 2018. Panambi(2021), a short documentary co-created with her friends, premiered internationally at Ji.hlava IDFF. She was one of the youngest delegates of Platform BUSAN. Her debut as a fiction filmmaker, A Catholic Schoolgirl(2023), was part of SSFF&Asia, Queer East, MIFF, and took home the Gender Sensitivity Award in QCinema 2023. Myra believes in the stories of her people. She hopes to empower regional narratives and give a platform to the causes she fights for, all while taking care of her cute pets at home.

Taylor freshly graduated with a Bachelor of Communications from Nanyang Technological University. Her affinity with filmmaking began at the age of 11 as a child actress, but she soon expanded to roles behind the camera. Her work as an editor on Playing Pondan was nominated at the National Youth Film Awards in 2023. She also wrote, directed, and edited her science fiction thesis film, Alive(2024). She is interested in questioning the absurdities of established norms in the world that we live in.

Max IMMONEN is currently in his fourth year at Srinakharinwirot University, studying Cinema and Media Production. His main interest is in history and culture, and that is reflected in his work. On the other side of studying, Max gained more experience by working in the media field, such as a production assistant or editing on television channels, to seek out ways to improve his skills. He braces himself once a movie has inspired him, and he will pursue his dreams, no matter how hard they are. If there is hope or a dream, he will not let it go.
