ASEAN-ROK Film Leaders Incubator: FLY2024 is calling for application of FLY alumni who want to participate in “FLY2024 Alumni Homecoming Program”, which will be held during FLY2024 in Lao PDR and where the participants can develop their filmmaking skills with instructors. Any FLY Alumni interested in participating in the program, please see the following guidelines for Participants Application.
I. Overview
○ Title: FLY2024 Alumni Homecoming Program
○ Date: November 11 (Mon) - 12 (Tue), 2024 (2 Days)
* Period of FLY2024: October 30 (Wed.) – November 13 (Wed.)
○ Venue: Vientiane, Lao PDR
○ Hosts: Busan Metropolitan City (Republic of Korea), Lao Cinema Department (Lao PDR)
○ Organizers: Busan Film Commission, Asian Film Commissions Network
○ Sponsor: ASEAN-ROK Cooperation Fund
○ Cooperation: Busan Asian Film School (AFiS), Busan International Film Festival-Asian Film Academy, Aputure Imaging Industries
○ Programs
- Round Table: Mentoring Session with Directing/Cinematography Instructor, discuss the current state of film industry in each country, exchanging a variety of information
- Meeting with FLY2024 Trainees: Introducing short films by graduates and having a talk about their current activities
II. Important Dates
○ Application Deadline: July 15 – July 28, 2024
○ Finalists Announcement: August 7, 2024 (※ Subject to change)
○ FLY2024 Alumni Homecoming Program Period: November 11 - 12, 2024 (2 Days)
III. Qualifications
○ FLY Alumni (One of the 10 ASEAN member nations) who can stay in Lao PDR from 10th to 14th November
○ No disqualifications for overseas travel

VI. Benefit for Selected
○ Accommodation, meals, per diem * The airfair belongs to the applicants.
○ Selected alumni can participate in the official program of FLY2024 during the period
