DOAN Minh Xuan Thanh was born in 1997. She is majoring in Directing at University of Theatre and Film Arts, at the same time, is majoring in International Relations at University of Social Sciences and Humanities in Ho chi minh city, Vietnam. She, also, took TOTO filmmaking class sponsored by CJ Group. Even though she lives in tight schedules, her heart is set on films and she has great yearning to understand the world. She has participated in many film projects in diverse positions but mainly focusing on the first assistant director and a producer. This smart girl with ardent love for films will never stop her journey to discover the beauty of film arts.

NGUYEN Trung Kien is from Vietnam. He started to make films when he was 16. He took a course named "We are filmmakers" from The Centre for Assistant and Development of Movie Talents. Also he studied Art of Cinema-Cinematography Faculty at Hanoi Academy of Theater and Cinema. Once he graduated, he became an independent filmmaker. He has directed 4 short films including Inconclusive Love(2015), The False Awakening(2016). He also was a leading actor in a feature film named The Inseminator(2014) by director Bui Kim Quy. Currently he is a set decorator for a feature film On The Endless Road by director Siu Pham Sin, at the same time, he is writing a script for his very first feature film. He aims to get more careers as a director. He hopes to make films with his pure love for the beauty and the culture of Vietnam.

Ken Dhana SIRIDHORN is a student who is studying Motion Picture and Video at Rangsit University, Thailand. He started shooting with his friend when he was 20 as a director. He has produced more than 10 projects including short films, music videos, TV series, commercials, etc. His major works are The Mask(2014) and The Rob of Silence(2015), in both he worked as a producer. Through these experience, he did wonders in his role as a producer, a directer, an editer, an aerial videographer, and more. His favorite quote is "It does not matter how many times you fail, but the important thing is that you can still fight" from his father. In days to come, he hopes to be a great producer using his various skills.

Alisa PIEN was born in 1995. She is studying Film Production at Bangkok University on a BU creative scholarship since 2014. Alisa is also currently an intern at the Young Filmmakers of Thailand. The amazing career of her is that she has participated in more than 18 works from 2009 to 2016. She has been dedicating herself to filmmaking. One of her works, Gatsby the Life Saver(2015), got The Standard CM Category Award, The Audience Award at 10th Gatsby Student CM Awards in Japan. As a filmmaker, she hopes to get the ability of curing people's souls and bringing happiness and love into their lives through her films.

Rifyal Giffari is an independent filmmaker, who melds his love for genre and art house films to engender a sui generis cinematic meeting of vivid imagination with everyday human foibles, based in Singapore. He has a diploma of Digital Media Design and a bachelor's degree of fine arts(Digital Filmmaking). Sweet Bloom of Night Time Flowers(2016), which is written, directed, edited and produced by Rifyal Giffari, is nominated at National Youth Film Awards(Singapore) for best flim, best direction, best camera work, etc. Literally, it swept all the best titles of the award. He hopes to expand his filmmaking network through working with various production companies as well as participating in regional film festivals.

Jolinna is an aspiring Singaporean film talent who loves to work with others. She majored Cinematography at Lasalle College of the Arts, the Puttnam School of Film. She has dreamed to tell real stories of human by film as a medium. She believes that films are able to shape minds and provide people with an alternative perspective of lives. Storytelling is her way to show her curiousity about the universe. Jolinna, as a cinematographer, always tries to see things in different ways. She believes that exploration of oneself according to the story is the key to visual storytelling. This passionate young filmmaker has been taken part of more than 5 works so far, with 'Farewell Summer'(2014), she was nomicated for best Cinematography at Singapore Short Films 2015. Her ultimate goals are to shoot a feature film and to go everywhere filmmaking takes her.

Carlo Enciso CATU is a 22 year-old filmmaker from Pampanga, Philippinnes. This confident fellow got spotlights with his debut feature film 'Ari(My life and a king, 2015)' by getting awards from 4 different international film festivals including VIFF, CIFF. This well-started filmmaking career pushed him to try harder to be a better filmmaker. His vision is to be a filmmaker known for high quality, well-crafted and worth watching films by storytelling to the world. He has talents for both directing and writing. He committed himself to programs that give as much as possible education on how to make films as a director, as a writer and as a production designer since what he is most interested in is the roles in the production.

Shane Claudine Flores DAVID loves walking and making films. She majored in Broadcast Communication in the University of the Philippines Diliman where she is known for the courage and deep insights that she brought into her drama scripts, criticism papers, and several documentary, experimental, and narrative video productions. One of these is her experimental work, “Pulses from Outerspace” (2014), which explores about the process of conscientization by examining the inner contradictions within the self, and towards and among the society. Shane is also a member of Tudla Productions, an alternative media production group where she takes part in creating documentary and narrative films about the plight of the Filipino people. She deeply admires Lino Brocka, who insisted that the great Filipino audience is more important than making the great Filipino movie. With this, Shane approaches the art of filmmaking as a dialogical encounter between the filmmaker and the audience. She is working for freelance in scriptwriting, advertising, photography, and as a children’s storyteller. She believes that being a part of FLY2016 would be open new paths for her to bring her filmmaking to greater heights.

Htoo Myat Thiri was born in Pathein City, Myanmar, in 1992. She had studied Script Writing and Digital Camera at Myanmar Media Development Center. Currently, she is now studying Storytelling. For the last two years, she has worked on 7 films including MTVs, short films, and a documentary. She had hard time persuading her mother to let her study films. Even though she got her mother's permission, it was not easy at all. She had stayed at a small hostel with mouses. However, the experience made her more bold and braver. She got inspired from the movie Gravity(Alfonso Cuarón) and started to immerse herself to films. Her story is just like a film. One day she wants to make films to improve human rights of women.

AUNG Zaw Minn(known as AZ) is a filmmaker who has been running a local production house 'Magical Creation Myanmar' in Yangon, Myanmar. To date, he has made more than 7 flims and music/profile videos as a director or a cinematographer. With his short film named The Deadly Melody(2015), he won The Best Montage Award. He was so eager to improve his camera skills that he took a photography class by a famous camera master in Myanmar. Besides, he attened various classes such as Directing and Professional Script Writing, Storyboard Drawing, Photo Retouching, etc. He proved his talents for microfilm by getting nominated in 'Microfilm Competition' last year. This young fellow who is so keen on filmmaking is interested in state-of-the-art skills such as aerial shooting. In the future, people all around the world could see 'How beautiful Myanmar is' through his films.
