FLY Film Lab 2019 Unveils the 11 Projects
The 1st edition of FLY Film Lab 2019 in Celebration of 2019 ASEAN-ROK Commemorative Summit (hereinafter FLY Film Lab 2019) is excited to announce the finalists of this year from ASEAN member nations and Korea. In total 11 projects from 9 countries were selected.

These 11 finalists were selected through a series of evaluations process. At the first stage, film-related organizations in ASEAN member nations selected 1 or 2 projects from each country. At the second stage, Busan Film Commission selected 11 projects based on their originality, completeness, potential for production and investment, potential for international co-production and English writing.

* There was no applicant from Brunei and Lao PDR this year.
* Runner-up got extra slot and Philippines got another extra slot as host country and cooperation.
* Busan Film Commission represented selection of Malaysian project by request from FINAS.
The 21 filmmakers from the 11 finalist projects will be invited to the Lab Session 1 of FLY Film Lab to participate in mentoring on script and producing as well as lectures and a master class with a screening and Q&A. The event will be held in Cebu, the Philippines, for 5 days from July 1 to July 5, 2019.
