Online Pre-production

22 trainees submit stories, treatments, or scripts and develop them into screenplays in two groups with weekly assignments and instructor feedback

Making Short Films

Each group produces films based on their screenplays, supported by established Asian filmmakers, with final screenings held at the graduation ceremony

Workshop & Mentoring

Trainees receive intensive training in directing, shooting, lighting, editing, and more through lectures and group sessions

Screening & Talk

Trainees watch films by contemporary filmmakers and participate in Q&A sessions to learn from their experience and creative insights

FLY Alumni Homecoming Program

A networking session where alumni and instructors share industry trends, give feedback on works-in-progress, and screen alumni films

Official Events

Includes Orientation, Entrance Ceremony, Graduation Ceremony with awards, and a farewell party

Scholarships

Busan International Film Festival-Asian Film Academy (BAFA) Scholarship:
Awarded to one trainee who demonstrates outstanding dedication, granting eligibility to attend the next year’s BAFA

Aputure Award:
Given to the best cinematographer, featuring a prize of the latest lighting equipment from Aputure Imaging Industries.
