ASEAN-ROK Film Leaders Incubator: FLY2025
We are Certain, We FLY
ASEAN-ROK Film Leaders Incubator: FLY is a short filmmaking workshop that brings together aspiring filmmakers from the 10 ASEAN member states and South Korea with a shared goal of creative collaboration. Divided into two teams, trainees co-develop short film scripts and complete production within two weeks, under the mentorship of acclaimed Asian filmmakers.
Launched in 2012, FLY is an ASEAN-ROK Cooperation Project funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea and ASEAN-ROK Cooperation Fund (AKCF). It is organized by the Busan Film Commission and the Asian Film Commissions Network (AFCNet), with film industry-support agencies from ASEAN member states taking turns co-hosting the program in their respective countries.
Since its successful debut in Davao, Philippines in 2012, FLY has traveled across the region:
- 2013 – Hua Hin, Thailand
- 2014 – Yangon, Myanmar
- 2015 – Johor Bahru, Malaysia
- 2016 – Phnom Penh, Cambodia

- 2018 – Singapore
- 2019 – Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei
- 2023 – Da Lat, Vietnam
