Adam GROVES filmmaking journey ignited with the Malaysian indie gem Ciplak. He financed his passion through wedding videos and commercials, steadily upgrading equipment while delving into screenwriting and short film study. To gauge audience preferences, he ventured into creating skits and short films on YouTube. In 2016, he unveiled his debut feature, Primajaya, which received acclaim as a first-time effort. Currently, Adam Groves is immersed in crafting his second feature film, titled Waiters, showcasing his relentless dedication to the art of filmmaking and his evolution as a filmmaker.

It has always been his aim to develop local talent in film making, both technical and creative aspects which drives him to constantly acquire knowledge related to creative content making. Harlif has directed and edited TV drama since 2003, as well as Brunei pioneer film What’s So Special About Rina(2013) and Brunei-Laos Co-production film RINA2(2017).

Currently a freelance editor, Aulissa TY graduated from Department of Media and Communication of the Royal University of Phnom Penh, Cambodia. In 2019, she was also an exchange student for one semester at Chulalongkorn University, Thailand, studying Communication Arts. Following the exchange program in Bangkok, she worked for various local production houses for 3 years and has been specializing in postproduction, mainly editing and sound design. Her works now involve short films, music videos, TV series for BBC Media, commercials, and digital media contents. She aspires to be a successful woman film editor in Cambodia’s film industry and beyond.

Phanith CHHUM(born in 1990) is currently a freelance colorist, cinematographer, and video editor base in Cambodia. Phanith was trained as a filmmaker in filmmaking and multimedia training at Bophana Audiovisual Resource Center in 2014-2015. Phanith was a former Archivist at Sa Sa Art Projects and resident in the historic White building which he collected archival family photographs, as well as conducting new video interviews of the White Building residents. He particularly interested in film, history, architecture, social issues, political, and visual arts.

Born in Makassar, May 1989. Graduated from Makassar Institute of Arts in 2013 with a short film as his final project. This film—On Stopping the Rain / Sepatu Baru—was awarded with a Special Mention by the Children’s Jury Generation KPlus in the 64th Berlin International Film Festival(2014). Since 2013, Aditya works in various film and TV commercials projects as a freelancer. He participated in Asian Film Academy 2014 and Berlinale Talents in 2015. His short film A Gift, Kado was world premiered in the Orizzonti Short Films Competition at the 75th Venice International Film Festival and won Best Short Film. He is currently in early stage of writing for his debut feature film and will be directing episodes for a series project with Netflix titled Saiyo Sakato Season 2 slated to begin production in February 2024.

Ahmad YUNIARDI is a film editor with 9+ years experience in the film industry and has been involved in award-winning film projects and Indonesian blockbusters, such as Andragogy (Toronto International Film Festival 2023), Photocopier (Busan International Film Festival 2021), The Fox Exploits The Tiger’s Might (Cannes Film Festival 2015), Posesif (Best Film Nominee FFI 2017), Aruna&Her Palate (Best Film Nominee FFI 2018, Culinary Cinema Berlinale Film Festival 2018). He graduated from the Jakarta Institute of Arts with a bachelor’s degree in film editing. He is also an alumnus of the Asian Film Academy in Busan, South Korea. In 2021, he won Best Editing Award at Festival Film Indonesia for Wregas Bhanuteja’s Photocopier. Currently, Ahmad Yuniardi is writing his first supernatural-drama feature titled Heirlooms.

KIM Hyoungmin studied filmmaking in Seoul and Prague. He is the founder of the global production company 37th Degree, born in Seoul in 2014 and expanded in the United States in 2015. Over the years, He has produced successful short films and feature films, which premiered at top international festivals such as Venice Film Festival, New York Film Festival, and Bucheon Fantastic Film Festival. KIM Hyoungmin recently directed his first feature film, Forte, which is currently in postproduction.

He developed an interest in cinema at a young age, and after graduating from high school, he enrolled in the National University of Laos to study lao culture and literature. After graduating, he worked as an cinematographer, editor, script writer in Lao cinema department in 2017 to present. In his current role, Somphong is responsible for postproduction work, such as editing, color grading, and visual effects.

Tengku Nur Sajidah, an independent young filmmaker and freelancer who started to discover herself in the art and film field since 2014 in Kuala Lumpur as a film student. Min Thant MAUNG MAUNG, born in July 3rd 1997, is a film director that graduated with a Bachelor Of Fine Arts degree from New York Film Academy College during his 3 years of oversea studies based in Los Angeles, United State of America. Before he goes for his studies, he has been under his father tutelage and has been taken under his wing to take in the experience of filmmaking before he goes to the Los Angeles. After his studies in USA, he came back to Myanmar to follow his father’s footsteps and hopes to overtake it. During his time back, he has been able to partake in a high budget feature film name A Flower Above the Clouds as one of the creative directors of the film. There he was able to hone and sharpen his skills, even more so after shooting in Korea and Post-Production in Bangkok. Min Thant Mg Mg now aims to create more exhilarating and thrilling new works that will entice viewers with his unique storytelling and innovative ideas by being the main Director in them. He wishes to make his works cross borders throughout other countries to share his visions and his country’s culture.

Jeddalyn is an independent producer, director, and documentarist based in Manila with a degree in Advertising&PR and a master’s in Media Studies, majoring in film. Her short film, Senior, won Special Jury&Audience Choice in QCinema IFF 2014. In 2021, both attended AFiS&Full Circle Lab as a producing fellow to develop her debut feature. Kristin Parreño BARRAMEDA is a Filipino filmmaker, with a career in post-production supervision spanning almost nine years. Gloria has two over decades of experience in the media industry in Singapore. She started with various landmark productions such as Singapore’s first English commercial feature film, Army Daze; first Mandarin movie Singapore Road Less Travelled; and Jack Neo’s first directing feature film That One Not Enough. She has also produced music videos for large-scale live events like the Singapore National Day Parades and exclusive red-carpet gala events for Resorts World Sentosa. Her stint as Executive Producer with Oak3 Films saw her tele-movie entitled Spelling Armadillo garnered an Emmy and a New York Festival nomination. After heading a multi-media unit in a public service ministry, Gloria is now with an educational institution. She continues to coach the younger media content generators while pursuing her independent filmmaking endeavors.

He was first to define ‘viral video’ in the region after crashing servers with his short film Tak Giu. Maenum CHAGASIK, also known as Maenum LOU, is graduated with a degree from Thammasat University. She started at the Thai Film Foundation, focusing on festivals and kids’ filmmaking. She then produced award-nominated art-house films, including Wichanon Somumjam’s debut. In 2017, she shifted to advertising, working with director Tor Sornsrivichai. BUI HOANG Nga had been working as Senior Editor in one of Saigon’s biggest post-production house for years on both feature films and TV commercials projects. Aside from a degree in Film Study from Victoria University of Wellington, she was intensely trained hands-on by established Taiwanese and Chinese editors on the art of storytelling and editing techniques. Her editorial works vary from feature films, TV commercials, documentary and music videos. Although her early works grounded mostly on Drama, her editorial debut success turned out to be on Horror/Thriller, and now she is taking on new editing challenge in Comedy and Rom-com. For her, an editor should trives to be as versatile as possible. NGUYEN Duy Thanh is a Vietnamese editor based in Ho Chi Minh City. In 2013, he attended a Filmmaking course at The Centre for Assistance and Development of Movie Talents. His first opportunity to participate in a feature film as an assistant editor was Blood Moon Party, which was the highest-grossing film in Vietnam in 2020. He later worked on projects such as the feature film Nguoi Can Quen Phai Nho (2021) and the TV mini-series ‘Trai Hoa Do’(2022). Tran Chi Cuong is a young film director based in Vietnam. He graduated from Hochiminh Academy of Theatre and Cinema in 2022. He grew up in a Chinese family in District 5, Saigon.
